Many types of accommodation are available in Budapest from hostels to five-star hotels. Perhaps the most convenient is to stay at the building of the Conference Venue at Novotel Budapest City Hotel.

HOTELS - You can choose from three to five star hotels within 15 minutes by public transport or the hotels at the most central locations in the downtown of Budapest. 
HOSTELS - Hostels for backpackers in Budapest are popular among students and tourists looking for low-cost accommodations.
AIRBNB - Airbnb in Budapest is just as popular as in the other cities of the world. You can find a nice apartment for your stay in Budapest.

Feedback on the hotel booking

I just want to update you in case other people face similar issues:

1. Hotel: Everything works great in a personal email to the hotel. I have my reservation. But going through the website was frustrating because it showed "unavailable". Others may have these issues and you might get a stream of emails.

2. Registration: Only bank transfers are accepted. I received the invoice in Euros. But my bank could only send US$ or HUF to Hungary. I had to request a second invoice in HUF. Again, no problem for me but U.S. people may face this issue. It is possible that this was unique to my bank because it is not a "commercial bank".
